Outer diameter and wall thickness are checked with digital calipers against the applicable ASTM, DIN, or EN specification before packing, with material test certificates (EN 10204 3.1/3.2) issued under TeCarve's ISO 9001 quality system.
Checks carried out before shipment: outside diameter with digital calipers and micrometers, wall thickness with micrometers and dial gauges, length with tapes, U-bend leg spacing, surface gloss, alloy verification with a handheld analyzer (PMI) and pressure testing of coiled tubing. Results are recorded on the EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate supplied with each order (see a sample); third-party inspection can be arranged on request.
